THE DEADLINE FOR TURNING IN LEADERSHIP APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2012.

 

Dear Chamber Member:

The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Thirteenth Hispanic Leadership Development Course.  As of today, we have graduated twelve classes and are currently placing these individuals on various boards and commissions through out the city of Fort Worth.

With the census numbers in, the Hispanic community is growing faster than expected. Today, Fort Worth is now among the fastest growing cities in the nation due to the growth of this market.  We need to work together in the promotion and retention of our Hispanic professionals and entrepreneurs.

This fall, the FWHCC will launch its 2012-2013 leadership session on Saturday, October 20, 2012 with a day retreat.  Classes will take place on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  (See attached course calendar.)

Enclosed you will see the objectives, course information, curriculum and fee associated with this program.  In each of your corporations or organizations you have individuals who will benefit from this program.  This program provides a networking opportunity for Hispanic professionals and entrepreneurs.

We look towards building a database of these individuals that will allow the promotion of Hispanics to mid and upper level management positions in Corporate America.  In addition, enable us to provide names to boards and commissions for volunteerism through out the city of Fort Worth. The time is now for us to build our future together with the Hispanic community that will irrevocably benefit the city of Fort Worth.
