6th Annual MusicArte on the River - Saturday October 16, 2012
The 6th annual MusicArte on the River Festival will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012. The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FWHCC), in collaboration with the Trinity River Vision (TRV) and various cultural institutions and organizations will once again bring the vitality of music, art, food and culture to the heart of Texas. This year’s festival will be held on the river at Panther Island Pavilion in Trinity Uptown.
MusicArte on the River focuses on the great tradition of art, music and food; for two wonderful days the FWHCC will host demonstrations and performances of proud history and contemporary traditions. More than 40,000 visitors are expected to stroll through the art booths, hear entertainers on a new, permanent stage provided by the TRV as well as sample a variety of foods. In addition this year we have added a health component to the schedule with classes on the banks of the Trinity.
MusicArte is an illustration of a dynamic and creative society. A society built upon rich natural resources, thriving cosmopolitan cities and engaging rural landscapes. A society where a rich heritage of freedom, optimism, opportunity and achievement contribute to Fort Worth’s modern culture.
